Accessibility

The Center for Arts and Learning is committed to accessibility – and because we’re in an historic building, that can be a challenge. We have recently installed a LULA elevator as part of an accessibility project – learn more and support the project here.

Entrances and Stairs

Our accessible entrance is on Msgr. Crosby Avenue; please note that there is no parking on our side of the street; visitors who can be dropped off should come around the block from Wilder Street to Msgr. Crosby (see map). The entrance to River Rock School is also wheelchair-accessible, and can be reached from the parking lot by the Barre St. Playground. Our Barre St. entrance nearest the senior center has a short flight of stairs. Our elevator is now operational, so visitors can reach the T.W. Wood Gallery, River Rock, and the basement, first, and second levels of CAL – please note that the elevator does not reach third-floor studios at CAL.

Parking

There is limited parking along the side of the building next to the senior center, with driveway on Barre St. Street parking is also available. We are working on installing van-accessible parking.
